Leaving home young and adapting to life at boarding school can shape how you relate to yourself and others — often in ways that last well into adulthood.
You may notice a sense of disconnection in your relationships, a struggle to feel truly yourself, or a quiet belief that life could be fuller than it feels right now.
As someone who also spent time at boarding school, I take a special interest in what has become known as Boarding School Syndrome. Together, we can make sense of these early experiences — with curiosity and care — and open the possibility of living with more freedom and connection.
My work is grounded in a humanistic approach, which means I see you as the expert in your own life.
I don’t give advice or tell you what to do — instead, I offer a safe and understanding relationship where you can explore, reflect, and discover new ways to live more fully.
Whatever has brought you here, you’ve already taken an important first step by reaching out.
If any of this resonates, I’d be glad to meet you for an introductory chat — a space to talk about what’s been difficult and see whether counselling with me feels right for you.
